First look at The Clipse's Play Cloths clothing line

We announced a couple of months back that Malice and Pusha T of The Clipse would be unveiling their new clothing line called Play Cloths in the near future. Well folks here is the first look at their new line. Clipse issued the following statement in regards to their vision of their clothing line:

"A combination of lifestyle and attitude that embodies art/culture, Play Cloths is the notion that every individual has a right to be accepted... but not in our gang. Play Cloths is the rare exception to the rule. Play Cloths is classic style specifically designed with a rare urban appeal designed for the 21st century style rebel. We blend traditional American style with the French Rivera and Monte Carlo uses of rich, vibrant primary colors to create collectible garments."

Look for Play Cloths to show up in select boutiques with a similar distribution strategy to when Pharrell initially launched BBC and Ice Cream.

Clipse to unveil "Play Cloth" fashion line at MAGIC Convention

Malice and Pusha T of the rap group Clipse have been busy the past couple of months moving record labels and launching their own group The Re-Up Gang and as announced last month they will be launching their clothing line called Play Cloth next month. Clipse will make an appearance at the MAGIC Fashion and Apparel Trade Show in Las Vegas on February 12-15 at the Las Vegas Convention Center to unveil Play Cloth. According to Pusha T, bold rich colors will play a large part of the Play Cloth design as they will start off with t-shirts, denims, jackets and sweatshirts. “It’s based around the idea of when clothes were collectables,” he said. “It represents youth and influence.” Similar to the strategy their partner in crime Pharrell used with BBC and Ice Cream, Play Cloth will only be available in boutique stores and will most likely charge a high price point.
