Lil Wayne & Birdman Ed Hardy Clothing ads

Ed Hardy Clothing is doing the one thing that Von Dutch wasn't able to do...get hip-hop support. While many in the fashion industry have called Ed Hardy the next Von Dutch (get popular - expand too fast - burn out even faster), one of the main differences is Ed Hardy's appeal with a wide range of people. Von Dutch was for the trendy-rich kid-Ashton Kutchers of the world and that was about it.

Proving its range from urban trendy to hip-hop, Ed Hardy has employed the likes of Cash Money gurus Lil Wayne and Birdman for their current ad campaign. These ads are already up on billboards in major cities. Expect Ed Hardy to make more moves like this...but let's hope they just dont throw in someone random artists like Boost Mobile did with their ads.
