Why is Outkast's Andre "Big Boi" Patton so happy? Because he has a new TV show in the works. The Hollywood Reporter released TV production details of Will Smith's production company Overbrook Entertainment and one of the big announcements is that Big Boi will be starring in a family comedy called "Uncle Rudy."
Those close to the deal and to Big Boi's talent agency William Morris, know that the Outkast star recently has been aggressively pushing his film and TV career. So far he has seen little success on the big screen with Idlewild and Who's Your Caddy both under performing. Big Boi has no other current big studio movie projects in the works so he will be able to concentrate on "Uncle Rudy."
