I didn't even know Beanie could skate. Or maybe he can't. Either way Beanie Sigel and DGK have collaborated to release this very limited edition skateboard deck. We broke the news awhile ago that Fox Searchlight was holding open online auditions for their new movie tentatively titled Notorious which will be based on the life of The Notorious B.I.G. and produced by B.I.G.'s mother. The online response has been overwhelming as amateurs from around the nation have been sending in their demo videos and posting them to the internet for viewers to vote on. The producers have yet to decide on who will play the lead role and now MTV reports that rapper Beanie Sigel recently auditioned for the part.
"Yeah," Beanie smiled, while sitting in the Def Jam offices on Tuesday, describing what inspired him to go out for the part. "The fact that I'm a huge Big fan from the gate is why I did it."
I'm a big fan of B.I.G. as well but you didn't see me auditioning for the part. Or maybe that's because I weigh 145 lbs. Beanie seems a little too skinny though. He should go on the Missy Elliott Doritos diet to gain some weight.
