Akon releases new book "Thug Politics"

Your favorite underage-teen-humping star Akon will be releasing a new book called "Thug Politics" that will ironically be released under C Murder's book publishing group Tru Publishing. I just wonder why C Murder, who is a convicted murderer, has a book company. "Thug Politics" will be about Akon's life growing up and will be due out in stores this April or May. Look for it in your local bookstore in the "Thug" section next to "Children's Books" and "Religion." Via: Highbrid Nation

Akon to star in martial arts film "Slums 13"

In the new movie Slums 13 (not to be mistaken with Oceans 13) it's an all out martial arts war in the streets as the underage teen dancing, fan throwing R&B star Akon will play a major role as the character named Styles. Even though he has plenty of experience throwing fans off stage, Akon will not be participating in any of the martial arts fighting scenes.

Filmed entirely in Atlanta and produced by Atlanta native R.L. Scott, Slums 13 will attempt to combine the high flying action of martial arts with an urban street twist. No word yet on when it will be released but it is currently filming. Expect only a limited release with no major studio attached.
