Diddy part of New York City tourism ad campaign

Diddy

Diddy shows his love for his hometown as part of the New York City Tourism board's recent ad campaign entitled "Ask The Locals." Other celebs in the campaign include Kevin Bacon, Lindsay Price and Matt Lauer. An interesting assortment of people if you ask me. I really hope Staten Island creates an "Ask The Locals" campaign with RZA, GZA and Meth as their spokespeople. Via: Highbrid Nation

That's just a huge tease. I'm either going to be told to go to an expensive venue I can't afford or sent to some tourist trap where these celebrities wouldn't be caught dead.

Agreed. It's hard to even really call them "locals" as if Diddy is your run-of-the-mill average local New Yorker. If they want real, they should do a campaign with the homeless out there. But then again, I guess the point is to bring tourists in, not drive them away.
