Ice Cube's new movie "Janky Promoters"

Ice Cube will write, produce and star in his next hip-hop film Janky Promoters which is about Cube's character and his partner as music promoters who get the chance to book a top-tier hip-hop artist into a midsized California venue...  

Of course the pair are not prepared for such a task and everything that could go wrong at the concert does. Cube's production company, Cube Vision, is casting immediately including finding a real "top-tier" hip-hop artist to play himself in the movie. Filming will begin this summer to make time for Cube as he prepares for his next film The Long Shots (formerly Comeback) directed by Fred Durst. Via: Variety
