RZA stars in drug movie "Life Is Hot In Cracktown"

While RZA recently finished filming the mainstream sci-fi action film Repossession Mambo, it's his role as Samy the gangleader in the drug riddled drama Life Is Hot In Cracktown that has Hollywood excited. RZA has been busy making a name for himself with the Hollywood studios the past couple of years and it's working. Through his talent agency APA, RZA has become the go-to-guy for film score and composition as he worked on the score for films such as Kill Bill, Unleashed and the upcoming Vin Diesel film Babylon A.D.
After his brief performances in Derailed and American Gangster, RZA takes on a challenging and dark role in Life Is Hot In Cracktown which takes a poignant look at poverty, crack cocaine, the inner-city streets and how it has affected today's society. Cast also includes Shannon Sossamon, Brandon Routh and Kerry Washington who actually plays a trans gender prostitute. No release date has been announced yet.

RZA should spend less time acting and more time getting WuTang back on track. There was NO heat behind that last album and I'm all bout the Wu TOO!
