Official movie poster to Ciara's "Mama I Want To Sing"

The official movie poster to Ciara's upcoming film Mama I Want To Sing has now been released compliments of Blackfilm.com. As we mentioned a while back when we first reported on this movie, it also stars Patti LaBelle, Kim Porter (Diddy's babies momma), Ralph Tresvant and Bobby Valentino. Movie is about a preacher's daughter (Ciara) who sings in the church choir before being discovered by a well-established musician. Soon she rises to international fame as a pop singer and must fight between her new found fame and her Godly roots. The poster says it will come to theaters in Spring 2008, but our sources with the production company say it will most likely be October 10, 2008 with a limited theatrical release.

i really wanna see this movie but its in fall olmost the end of the year. why they changed the date cuz april 11 was a perfect date for the movie to be released. i mean like if they going the release it in october atleast show us some footish of the movie. :)

I can't wait for this movie. I want to see if yet another singer turned actress can live up to the hype. I saw the gospel play years ago. I hope this movie does it justice. Ciara, many blessings.
