Black Eyed Peas' Taboo in new "Street Fighter" movie
The Variety has reported that Black Eyed Peas member Taboo has joined the cast for the upcoming Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li movie. This version of the film will be entirely focused on the back story of Chun-Li and not about all the characters from the video game (like the first movie with Van Damme was). Of course the movie will feature many familiar characters. So far the confirmed casting call is as follows:
Chun-Li: Kristen Kreuk ("Smallville")
Balrog: Michael Clarke Duncan (Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins)
Charlie Nash: Chris Klien (American Pie)
Gen: Rick Yune (Die Another Day)
Vega:??
M.Bison:??
Although there is no official word as to what role Taboo will play, my early guess would be Vega. He has the long hair like Vega, looks kinda pretty like Vega and is of Spanish descent like Vega. The main issue though is that Vega is a skilled martial artist...well surprise surprise...Taboo is actually trained in the martial art of Jeet Kune Do. Ok I have now exposed my Street Fighter knowledge which borders on nerd level. Street Fighter is due out in March of 2009. To all the tru playas out therre can I get a HA-DU-KEN!
Man I hope this ends up being better then that first street fighter movie. Where is Ryu and Ken though???

oh SHIT this takes me back to the ol skool. this and mortal kombat. this casting looks cool but guess you can never tell until it really comes out. Im assuming no Ryu or Ken has been casted yet or they not in the movie at all? What about my boy Blanka??? I took down the house wit that fella

Vega is suposed to be White with blond hair. Hes suposed to be from Spain(European) not mexican (mestizo)or filipino(asian mestizo). Taboo has a spanish last name but hes not Spanish and he is not white.
