Battle at the Box Office: Jessica Alba vs. Eva Longoria

Note to self: Jessica REALLY hates it when she burns things in the oven. Ok...It's a question that a guy can only dream about. Who should you spend the night with? Jessica Alba or Eva Longoria? Unfortunatley by "spending the night" I mean which movie should you watch...Jessica Alba's horror flick The Eye or the Eva Longoria romantic comedy Over Head Dead Body. Both movies are out today and the industry has The Eye pegged to make around $13 million this weekend which should be enough for #1 considering no major releases.

Over Her Dead Body which looks like the sequel to Just Like Heaven won't do much damage as Eva will try again to prove herself as a movie star and not just a hot little woman. Estimates are at about $6 million for the weekend. Strange Wilderness, which is a cross between Super Bad and Without A Paddle is a smaller release and should make about $3 million. What about last week's number one Meet the Spartans and Rambo? Expect huge drop offs for both of these titles as most of the die hard fans went to see it opening weekend. Besides, young guys are going to be busy this weekend watching the Super Bowl...and then Sunday night everyone will be celebrating the Patriots' perfect season and Randy Moss as Super Bowl MVP.
