Wu-Tang Clan graphic novel in the works

Method_man_graphic_novel
Sanford Greene, current artist for the DC Comic "Wonder Girl" and the artist of MF Doom's "Venemous Villain" cover art is now working on a Wu-Tang Clan graphic novel with the help of Method Man. No details on plot, dates, etc. but considering the current state of Wu-Tang let's hope its not a Ghostface and Raekwon vs. RZA battle. I would much rather see the Wu fighting together on the same side vs. the evil forces of The Taliban, Osama Bin Laden or Kimora Lee Simmons. Check out an early concept drawing of Method Man along with some of Sanford's awesome art after the jump.

I KNOW, not now, lol. Sanford, do it up bro!

This just shows hiphop got power on all elements of creativity and culture. Cant hold us or the movement down. I never heard abotu this artist to but im def gonna check out his stuff now. He need to do a full blown wutang comic book

we need more artists like this in the comic book industry. paving ways my friends, paving ways.

I hope this really happens and Sanford pulls through on this. Wu tang is still strong!

that middle drawing with the big guy in the jersey and the little guy with the chain is off the heez.

Definitely looking forward to this. Didn't they have a Wu-Tang comic book back in the day? Either way, from Enter the 36 to 8 Digrams, from the video game to Wu Wear, this is just another example of how the Wu is a staple of American - not just hip-hop - history

Great article, thank you
