Even Ghostface Killah can't save Dewey Cox in "Walk Hard"

Even a cameo appearance by the Iron Man himself, Ghostface Killah, couldn't save Dewey Cox (John C. Reilly) and the movie Walk Hard from utter failure. Even with an aggressive TV media, grassroots and online marketing campaign, the Sony film failed to make a dent at the holiday box office and came in at a disappointing $4 million this past Christmas weekend. Considering the movie cost $35 million to make, you can be pretty sure there won't be a sequel to this one.

As good as an actor as John C. Reilly is, he isn't the right one for this type of movie and its target. No wonder it flopped.

Ghostface couldn't save this movie. No one could.
