Update on Notorious B.I.G. movie

There hasn't been much public news about the upcoming Notorious B.I.G. biopic since the well publicized October open casting calls in New York. However our sources attached to this movie have revealed that all open casting calls have been closed including the online submissions as well. You can listen to some of the contestants here though and judge for yourself how similar they sound to B.I.G.

While our sources were very tight-lipped, they did reveal casting is still in progress but it was emphasized we should not believe any of the current rumors out there at all. This includes any of the supporting roles as well such as who will play Tupac or Faith Evans. Basically they debunked every rumored actor/actress discussed on the net. What does this mean? It means at this point in time don't believe anything you hear about casting for this film. So once again...Sean Kingston or Guerrilla Black is not playing Biggy...and Diddy is not playing Diddy. And Tupac is not playing Tupac.

Thank goodness to hear this news. G-Black is good but I don't think it would work to have him as Biggy. And we all know Kingston was never gonna do it! Now Diddy playing Diddy haha

This movie should never be made. I hope it doesn't go through. No film can capture the accurate portrayal of Biggie's life. If it does well you knwo there is gonna be a Tupac movie and a Jam Master Jay movie and a Proof movie, it will never end

This movie SHOULD be made, and if they make one about pac, great, one about jay, great...but after that, dont go see them...i think if theres any known actor to play biggie its dude from last king of scotland...and tupac will play himself...and jamie foxx should play diddy

Agreeing with nasty here. THis should be made and it will be done the right way since Biggie's mom is personally involved. She wont let this one turn into some fake ass bio movie.
