Kanye announces new book "Thank You and You're Welcome"
Kanye West announced on his official blog that he will be coming out with a book by the end of this year called "Thank You and You're Welcome." It will be available for pre-sell on Kanye's site for only $10 and the first 500 will be autographed. Smart move on his end, since the book is self published Kanye won't have to split the revenues with a book publishing firm. In his own words, Kanye says...
"It's dope....10 bucks. I teamed up with co-author J. Sakiya Sandifer to make my literary debut with Thank You And You're Welcome!, an entertaining volume of "Kanye-isms "-- the creative, humorous and insightful philosophies and anecdotes used in creating my path to success. It captures the same wit, playful irony, and piercing insight found abundant in my lyrics. In Thank You And You're Welcome I deliver my personal message uncensored, without any five-second delay or media distortion. I'll post some sample pages within a week..."
Kanye's co-writer J. Sakiya Sandifer is also well recognized in the publishing and creative industry as an uplifting and positive force where he also does corporate motivational speeches. He is also head of the company We Think, LLC. I am surprised Kanye didn't release this book last week when 50 Cent released his new book "50x50."

What a suprise. 50 does it, then Kanye gotta do it. Where Kanyes water company?

Whatever he still gonna make even more money off this since like you said he doesn't have a publisher to go through. You can't hate a man who is taking advantage of his opportunities which it seems like Ye is def doing.

This is a very smart move. 10 bucks for a Kanye books is worth the risk if it's not good. I'll be picking it up, its worth a try.
